a place you can buy for 1 k, which is empty, you can buy furniture for it, games for it, extensions, place where no one can get except you invite them, good place to have parties, maybe something of pvp, let mini pets rund freely in it, able to make it as big as a guildhall (total cost of 500 k or something), includes the auction system, just imagine the posibilities

(also good place for the ppl who have too many money :P)

It sounds like you play runescape. That's exactly what the "construction" skill is. It would be much too costly at 500k for a full "house" Maybe lower the price, but for not /notsigned.

nah i think around 500k is a good idea
itll be like the guild halls of old when only really "good" guilds could have halls. now i could afford like 25 GHs by myself. seeming as theyre what 15k now??at most CHEAP!!

yeah this idea would most definately have to be more expensive than buying a guild hall, but I doubt Anet has the capacity to do this without having to charge people for it.

i NEVER played runescape, got the idea from pokemon lol and it's always nice to have a place where no one can get to relax a bit :P

(maybe an all vs all arena as possible upgrade :P)

Haha, I love the VIP pad idea, but as everyone has said, ANet will never implement it. It's not necessary at all, and would make this game much too "role-playing-esque" for ANet's liking.

/signed if we get storage in it as well as the ability to furnish our own private home. Perhaps it can be something we can get at the guild hall, just purchase yourself a room from the Guild Lord for 10k and be able to choose the colours, furniture, etc.
Of course, the only practical thing would be the storage, but the rest would be nice.

Too bad this will never get implemented.

I love this idea. It'd give me something to do, and would keep me playing for a good amount of time, trying to raise money to buy upgrades and what not. I don't think Anet would go for this, because of course they never go for the good ideas. But I'd still love it.

for real im runngin out of things to want lol i can only buy so many sets of 15k armor. plus it would be sweet to be able to show off your pad and have a place to hang out with friends. main thing that needs to be in there is a free mini bar with like 10 ales/rice wine a day lol

Global idea is cool, but:

1. Massive lag, guild wars servers already have lagfests once in a while, this would stimulate that since 80% of all players would make his own room, meaning, more to process for the servers, more LAG.

2. 1k? I take you don't have any money atm :P, common man, I remember the days when guild halls were 60k minimal, and i loved those days, it took me a week of wreckage runs but I got that hall, and that fact that all noob guild's didn't have 1 made me feel great, these days the guild hall has the price of a cookie, a cookie that has passed the expiration date.

My idea: Guild House, or w/e you want to call it,

meaning: your guild can invest money to buy rooms for your guild hall, like a bar, guild bedrooms with storage for 6 items or so, etc. The price for this will be 10/15k a room, with a total of 20 to 30rooms.

This way you still have something to save money for, Guild wars doesnt start lagging since your entire guild shares these rooms, like a guild hall.
Offcourse you cant acces these 30 rooms at the same time, so swirls for rooms, so inactive rooms don't have to be loaded, making sure that guild wars doesn't lag because of this.

I think furniture would go to far for these rooms, so you choose which design for a bar room you want added, and pay for it, kinda like a construction plan.

lol actually i fully agree wit you silvershock youre thinking the same as me with those cheap GH nowadays. i say anet should bump the price back up. sadly this wont fix things cause everyone already has them basically. used to be, when you said guild recruiting have capes,HALL it meant something.now its like if you dont have a hall good luck finding ANYONE to join your crappy guild. i like your idea about the guild hall too. that is something that A-Net actually COULD incorporate into the game if they felt like taking the time to code it. its a more realistic fantasy
